Amazing but true....Oliver took 2 steps on his own today, and he's not even 7 months old yet! Was a bit of a fluke really. Mummy was standing him up and letting go and he's able to hold himself up for 1-2 seconds, and on one occassion took a couple of steps to try and stop himself toppling forward! It's a bit of a favourite game of his at the moment as he loves being on his feet and seems desperate to walk. Maybe he'll give up on the crawling altogether and go straight to walking!
The other big news in Ollie's life is that he is now sleeping in his own room! After 2 desperate nights mummy and daddy decided to bite the bullet and transfer his cot into the nursery. So far so good. He's still waking for 2 feeds (think he's having a bit of a growth spurt at the mo), but is not getting up until after 7 when daddy goes in to get him up.
